Stuffing Stockings Like a Boss

Friday, December 14, 2012

I always feel like stocking stuffers are the most fun gifts to shop for. The pressure to find good, clever presents that fit in an exceptionally small package is so exciting! It can also be a challenge, which is why I thought I would share with you some of my favorite stockings stuffers that I have picked out for baby & for dad! :)
For Baby
Alice in Wonderland Book | Wooden Phone | Mini Blabla Frog Doll
Plui Rainball Bath Toy | Boon Squirt Spoon

For Dad
Wooden iPhone Case | Dollar Shave Club Membership | Whiskey Stones
Bodum Coffee Press | Taste of Vermont Syrup Sampler | Hardwood Swiss Army Tool

Harper is getting all of these things in her stocking this year, minus the Boon Spoon since we already have one. I just think it is the perfect gift for younger babies if you are looking for one! We loved ours starting around 6-7 months & still use it!
Babylit Books & Blabla dolls have become our newest obsession - and both are small enough to fit in a stocking! And that wooden baby phone? Quite possibly one of the cutest toys I have ever seen, I hope Harper loves it as much as I do!

For Brandon's stocking, he will also be getting most of these items, except for the Dollar Shave Club membership, since he already has it (and loves it). Whiskey stones & syrup samples sound so much more more exciting to me than the standard golf balls & socks that typically fill his stocking. A french press is the perfect gift for the coffee lover (like my husband)... plus there is a good chance that you will also get some use out of it! :)

Another great stocking stuffer? Reindeer antler headbands. Because then you can do hilarious stuff like this to your children.

Antlers from Publix, Leggings from Etsy

This one actually reminds me of a real deer. Just hanging around, staring off into a distance.

It is very clear that I found these antlers much more amusing than Harper did. This sweet little baby deer will just never know how cute she is.

Awesome, this is the second list I've seen with whiskey stones and I actually already have some wrapped and waiting for my Husband's stocking :) We have mini Mirabelle the blabla Bunny and Ashlynn LOVES her, just waiting for her to be the toy she drags from room to room. Also going to check out the spoon, great picks!

How have I never heard of the dollar shave club?! This could possibly be THE best guy stocking stuffer ever! Glad I'm not the only one obsessed with Blabla dolls. Suzette finally came yesterday (I ordered her on November 15th, for crap's sake!) and I officially want all of them for my little Sadie! The website had a bunch of them for 36% off on 12.12.12, so it was a great time to stock up on some more! Thanks for a great stocking stuffer list! I already had a few of the items for my little gal, but now I can pick up a few more to finish it off AND give my hubby some good loot to boot! Merry Christmas!

My husband became obsessed with DSC when he saw their video - we both loved it & both use their razors now! And how on earth did I miss the 12.12.12 sale? That would have been a pretty darn good steal! :)

Fantastic list. That wooden play phone is freakin adorable. I love the idea of the $1 shave club membership. The video on the homepage cracked me up. Seriously thinking of getting that for my hubby. What blade does your hubs prefer? Also I saw where you can get a month free for recommending someone so if there's a way for you to link me so you get credit I would love to do that for sharing the great idea.

Great stocking stuffers! Again, very similar to ours. Great minds think alike! We have the boon spoon, a mini-blabla for the stocking, and I love that Alice in Wonderland book. We have the Romeo & Juliet version and the pictures are seriously adorable. Your little deer is the cutest! Happy holidays!

if you want authentic maple syrup you should try some of these sites...

www.sugarshackvt.com/view-all-products.php <-- Try the maple drops nad the maple leaf syrup containers, or even the maple syrup flask....

    An absolute favorite!!!
http://www.branonmaple.com/store/maple-products.html <-- I grew up not far from these guys and went to school with much of the family. They are true Vermonters and sugaring is a family sport in Franklin County VT

Bring a transplant VT at the age of 5 I am not a huge fan of true maple syrup but I can definately tell someone what family makes GREAT syrup in VT.

Would you happen to have any suggestions for travel beds for little ones?? We are expecting our first in March and my parents live out of state. I would like to have something to take with us when we go to visit them. Any suggestions??
