Harper's Christmas List

Monday, December 10, 2012

I think it goes without saying, Harper has been such a good girl this year! Brandon & I say to each other at least ten times a day, "she is the best kid ever!!" She is the happiest, silliest, sweetest baby & to top it off, she has mad dance skills. I have a feeling that Santa is going to be very good to her! :)

Bow from Ruby & Sue

I feel like her age is a little bit hard to shop for right now, since she is almost walking & getting bored of her baby toys. She is also eating mac n cheese & wearing blue jeans... which makes her a certified big kid.

Lately her biggest obsession is with noisy, light up toys, anything on wheels & anything in my hands. The straw ninja swiped my water this weekend the second I turned my head. This makes for one wet, messy baby & one disgusting, backwash-filled tumbler.

Baby Straight Jeans

Getting ready for a Christmas party the other night, Harper dropped her toys to come hang out in front of the mirror while I got ready. Maybe lip gloss & high heels should be under the tree for her? :)

After lots of research & shopping, here is the munchkin's official Christmas list!
Suzette the Fox Blabla Doll - Adding to her stuffed fox collection, these couldn't possibly be cuter!
Parum Pum Pum Drum - Another one of the toys that has so many good reviews, we couldn't help but want this right away since Harper loves her other toy drums & banging her hands on just about anything. Seems like lots of parts & pieces, so we may not give her the whole thing right away... guess it will be the gift that just keeps on giving as she grows into it! ;)
Squirrel Pull Toy - SQUIRRRRRRELLLLLL! A cute, quirky toy with a short, kid-safe string.
Hellophone - Another cute B. Toys item, that you can record your own voice on! This toy has some mixed reviews, but we know a few people that have it for their munchkins & totally love it!
Boon Creature Bath Toys - Always on the hunt for the perfect bath toy!
The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog! - I have heard that this book is hilarious. Plus, I love hot dogs. Done deal!
The Walkness Monster - We came across this guy at Target last weekend & couldn't have put it in the cart fast enough! Harper loves toys with wheels (this one is said to be harder to push, which I actually like so she can pull herself up on it) - & anything that has toy balls that she can collect or throw all over. And for a reasonable price & a name like "The Walkness Monster"... how could you not?!
Ugg Boots - Harper has had the Bixbee booties forever, but now that her feet have finally grown a little & she is almost walking, I am all over these! (also obsessed with Ugg Arly Boots for boys!)
Prince Lionheart Wheely Pig - Not only is this toy beyond adorable, but I have heard rave reviews about kids loving this toy from one year to four years old! While she may not be able to ride it yet, Harper loves to push things around... I am hoping this will be a big hit!

I know Harper will likely be more excited with the boxes, wrapping paper & bows that will accompany these gifts... but that is totally okay! The pictures will be priceless! So, let's hear it. What is on your little one's first Christmas list?

Oh my goodness - amazing list. Funny enough, ours is almost identical (but the boy version).... The Prince Lionheart Wheely Bee (so so adorable), The Sox the Fox version of the Blabla doll, that squirrel, that phone, and now that Walkness Monster! That thing is awesome! Thanks for sharing!! Great picks!

Super cute! I was looking at that walker. Let us know how you like it! It has horrible reviews so I was hesitant to get. We got one of those pigeon books for our kids for Christmas....they're so funny! Got lots of hair bows for my 6 month old. Lots of B. Toys for both kids. Love their stuff!

Our 2 year old baby girl is getting a Step2 Clubhouse Climber (it's pretty massive!!!) as her big gift. Throw in an American Girl Bitty Baby, some mermaid bath toys, bath markers & crayons, a Leap Frog DVD, some crayons & coloring books, reading books, and a personalized piggy bank to match her bedroom (Etsy, of course!) and that'll be her Christmas! I CAN'T wait for her to see everything! Harper's list rocks! It's sooooo fun the older they get, the more excited and active they are with their toys!!!!!

My little girl is maybe 2 weeks older than Harper and I always say buy gifts that you'll have fun playing with too cause us mom's do a lot of playing with baby toys!! I also have been having a little trouble with what to get this crusing mess monster of mine at this age. I need to keep a few things in my back pocket cause her 1st birthday is just around the corner(oh my gosh did I seriously just say my baby is going to be 1!? Ugh upsetting...) thanks for sharing!!! Merry Christmas!

That drum set is AMAZING! We have a 2 1/2 year old boy and we got that for him for his 1st birthday and he's still in love with it. We also got a B. toys piano and he's constantly wanting mommy and daddy to play "band time" with him ha the cell phone is also a great deal and he's still loving on that one too.

Super fun list, Harper's going to have so much fun!!! My Favorite thing my baby girl's getting this year is the Manhattan Toy Baby Stella Doll! It's great for a first baby doll, super cute, soft, and it has lots of accessories to go with it.. so hopefully she love it when she's a little older too!

My daughter (Stella) is getting the Baby Stella doll as well!! with an outfit and the stroller!! (even though she is only 5 months old!!) It just seemed like the perfect gift for her 1st Christmas!
And we also threw in a 2012 Holiday Barbie. Thinking that we may just continue to get her one every year as a tradition??? Also found a super cute owl towel and rattle at Target! Another idea that we had was a little silver bracelet... thinking we may start a jewelry tradition as well!!

My little girl just turned one yesterday and got the baby stella doll (the new one that talks--says mama and giggles when you tickle her feet!)soo cute. She is getting the kidkraft pink retro kitchen for christmas since she loves opening and closing doors and looks identical to the pottery barn one (except cuter and half the price :) ) I think its $124 on amazon prime. wooden puzzles, wooden food for kitchen, "my little teaparty" soft teaparty set that sings im a little teapot, bath toys, books, and the pottery barn anywhere chair!

It's hot here in Australia so our boys are getting a blow up pool as we just moved to a house with no pool :(.. also fireman's outfit, books, a torch as they love seeing the light on the roof! when you have two so close in age (13 months apart) age 2 and 3.. you pretty much buy 2 of everything, that way no arguments.. some clothes and I am sure the grandparents will top it off with more! :) Merry Christmas to your gorgeous family x

My 3 year old has had the Blabla fox since her first Christmas! She still loves it, except she has always called it a "beow" (instead of meow for a cat:) and we have never told her it is a fox! They make the cutest, softest, cuddley toys! Merry Christmas!

Those pictures melt my heart. The one of you getting ready in the mirror is the sweetest and her little painted toenails with the blue jeans are making me run to grab some polish for my girls. :)

My son got the drum set when he was about Harper's age for his first Christmas (He is a Harper as well). He loves everything about it - However, I would wait until she is COMPLETELY walking before getting her hands on the actual drumsticks. He would chew on them more than bang with them and he was walking around chewing on the tip of the stick, tripped and fell, and luckily it only caught the roof of his mouth. It left a nasty bruise and it bled. Needless to say, he didn't get to play with the sticks anymore. :-(
I normally just read my blogs, but every time I see someone posting that drum set I have to throw in my experience. Gotta protect the babes!
Anyway, he STILL plays with that junk and he is three! (And he got the sticks back)

And yes, ALL of the Pigeon books are hilarious! And that B. phone is the bomb.
