Aww yay so close!! So after reading your breech post, I remember being so sad for you and hoping that she gets turned...well I got told at my dr appt yesterday that my baby boy is breech ): I cried for like four hours!! So I can now say I understand you totally..hope all works out!!

Last year on February 9th, my first (and possibly only) daughter was born. Tomorrow we're celebrating her first birthday. I had hoped for a Valentine's baby, but February 9th is a pretty good day to be born, too. =)

I've read the last few post where you said, you wanted her to come on V-Day. My mother also wanted that for me, and i was born on V-Day. I love it! and so does my boyfriend hehe he loves having to buy a valentines and birthday present for the same day :)

I just spent my lazy Saturday reading your blog... Thank you for keeping this and making it public! I (like you) married my h.s. sweetheart, moved across the country from any family, tried for 3 years to get pregnant and finally succeeded after I 'gave up' trying so hard. You reminded me of the excitement of expecting.
Before I had babies, I would sit the rocking chair in my daughters room with my big preggo belly and try to convince her to come out and play with me... Now, I look forward to nap time so I can read a chapter of a book I've been working on for the last month.
I was raised in a (loud) family that gathered around food and would drink and play games until we couldn't keep our eyes open - so I can relate to the missing a drink while baking a baby. Your whole life is going to change once the baby gets here. Sometimes my husband and I reminisce about the days before we had kids - it seems like another life I lived.
I found out I was pregnant with my second child (a boy) when my daughter was 6 months old and I cried for about a month - feeling like I had been robbed of precious time with my daughter as a baby, and unsure how I would manage 2 babies under 2! They are now 5 & 6. I am truly living my dream (as cheesy as it sounds) picket fence, dogs and all! I am so excited for you - congratulations to you and Your hubby! Can't wait to find out her name.

I also found your blog on pinterest and have been fallowing it ever since. I love your chalkboard ideas and can't wait to do it for my next one. I know that having a breech baby can be scary, my son was breech but we didn't find out until I was 5cm dilated and in labor. I got rushed into a c-section (not emergency but within 30 minutes of finding out) it was scary but we all made it out safe. He is now a happy one year old who is the best addition to our family that we could ask for. I hope everything works out for you and baby g. I hope she miraculously turns before the big day but if she doesn't don't worry it will all be ok and forgotten once you are holding her in your arms.
