How far along? 38 Weeks
Total weight gain: up 23 lbs. (lost a few pounds by my 38 week appointment.. so strange)Maternity clothes? oh yea
Stretch marks? none yet!
Sleep: not terrible this week, I have been more tired than ever, so I'm sure that is why
Best moment this week: just soaking up every last bit of being pregnant ..laying around feeling her move & throwing back all the snacks I can get my hands on.
Miss Anything? so many things...but I know I will miss my baby belly more than all of them at this point!
Movement: oh yes she is active as ever! she's been doing this little movement with her foot ALL the time.. like tapping it on my left hip bone (similar to when a cat or dog scratches behind their ear with their back leg)... I am looking forward to seeing what exactly she is doing when she is on the outside :)
Food cravings: sweets (surprise!) this week's main menu consisted of brownies, oatmeal raisin cookies, lemon bars & apple slices dipped in cream cheese frosting.
Anything making you queasy or sick: meat
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: Nope. A few braxton hicks lately..but otherwise I get the vibe that she is pretty cozy in there. The other morning while we were laying in bed...she was wiggling around SO much.. hubby suggests that she is packing her things and getting ready for her big debut. LET'S HOPE!
Symptoms: lots of pain in my stomach from where her head moves around plus wicked heartburn/acid reflux.
Belly Button in or out? out
Wedding rings on or off? on.. although not in this picture apparently.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy & EXCITED to say the least!
Looking forward to: D-Day! SO ready for her arrival!!!! :)

I just had a couple questions...I read your first post about your ab workout you were doing when you found out you were pregnant, have you been doing anything special for working out during your pregnancy? You look amazing!! And where do you get the inspirations for drawing on your chalkboard? They look great and I have had a blank chalkboard in my kitchen for 6 months now! I need ideas!

ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines day! I hope Baby Garvin arrives today!
ReplyDeleteI love how pointy your belly has gotten. Reminds me of my first pregnancy! Happy Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeletePregnancy suits you as I am sure motherhood will! You look amazing.
ReplyDeleteHi..
ReplyDeleteI, too, stumbled upon your blog via pinterest! Love the chalkboard idea:) Just a little encouragement on the baby front. My baby girl was breech too, and much to my dismay, I had to have a C-section. C-section went great and recovery was fine. I delivered my baby boy last year via VBAC...awesome and smooth delivery! Just because you have a C-section with your first, doesn't mean you cannot deliver the other way next time if you decide to have more children:) You look beautiful...may God bless your growing family!
I'm excited for you to have your baby, but I'm going to miss all your cute chalk board art! haha
ReplyDeleteDid you get your Valentine's Day baby? I know I wanted my son (born 11/04/11 to be born on Halloween SOO badly, I too am a Holiday junkie! Unfortunately despite all of my hardest labor inducing efforts little Max was instead born 4 days later. His due date was 11/16 but I am glad he came early. Unlike you I was dying to get rid of the baby-bump because I felt uncomfortable and ugly! Now when I see cute pregnant girls such as yourself I almost miss my baby belly, he was so snug and happy inside but I am much more suited to be a hot-mom than a pregnant girl.
ReplyDeleteI have loved reading your blog...my husband and I are currently trying to have a baby and your blog has really been a wonderful push in the direction of a great blessing! Thank you for being so open.
ReplyDeletewhere is that jean jacket from it is adorable!!!
