How far along? 37 Weeks
Total weight gain: up 28 lbs.Maternity clothes? oh yea
Stretch marks? none yet
Sleep: no bueno
Best moment this week: meeting with the doctor about our possible c-section, he made me feel SO much better about everything. I need to just remember that it is all in God's hands & continue to focus on the fact that baby G will be here in no time!!
Miss Anything? being comfortable!
Movement: lots of major movements & rearranging... I'm sure she is pretty darn cramped in there! Lately I can even feel her fingers & toes moving!
Food cravings: Still want fruit for every meal...other than that, not much of an appetite.
Anything making you queasy or sick: meat
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: None. WTF.
Symptoms: Week 37 is when I officially hit a wall. Being uncomfortable has a whole new meaning... I have been tired again like the first trimester & my stomach is pretty painful..wondering if it has anything to do with her little head pushing through my stomach muscles. Also, my heartburn is back full force... especially after I eat chocolate.... esssspecialllllly after I eat chocolate cheesecake for breakfast. BUT, I know it is ALL WORTH IT! :)
Belly Button in or out? out
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: baby girl's arrival of course ... can't believe it is almost time!! 52 Comments »

However she comes out, she will know how amazing her mommy is and all she went through to bring her into the world. Thanks for inspiring me to keep up with my own "belly bumpdates" (via dry-erase board) as they will be a priceless read for our little one when he/she grows up. Best of luck in these final few days/weeks, and I pray for a healthy and safe delivery of Baby G!

Your blog too cute! Loved looking through it all, such a adorable idea! Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteMy baby girl was breach as well, and towards the end got pretty uncomfortable as well! heart burn and all. I ended up having gallstones i was in so much pain, back pain, heart burn, chest pain. after i had the baby 4 weeks later i needed my gallbladder out! Take care of that heart burn!
ReplyDeleteYou're in the home stretch... Once she gets here and her little hand grabs a hold of your finger you will forget about the pain! You look great - despite your discomfort.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful blog! It will be incredible to look back on your journey and have it as a forever keepsake. And as a plus, I love sharing in your experiences!
ReplyDeleteHey, girl. I'm a newer follower to your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy son just turned 1. He was a breech babe. Every week when I went in for my appointment at the end, I saw a different doctor. Each time, I asked them what position he was in. "He's ready to go! Head down!" they told me. My 38-week appointment? My doctor wasn't even going to do an internal check. I asked him to, and he says to me, "I want to have an ultrasound done..." Guess who was breech.
They offered us the version, too, which scared me more than the c-section, so, we scheduled a c-section. My appt. was a Tuesday...he was born that Friday.
I actually...dare I say it...enjoyed my c-section. It really wasn't bad at all. But at that point, I was just ready to be done. ;) If I can help at all, feel free to e-mail me! labarndt@gmail.com You're almost there! :) :)
Don't stress about labor signs! I had absolutely none and then bam it happened! Hang in there, almost done!! :)
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Full Term!!! Congrats, and try not to worry to much on your possible c-section. I had one in May with our daughter and what helped what just remembering the end product, your baby!
ReplyDeleteyou are absolutely adorable!! i LOVE the chalkboard pictures...and your writing and drawings are amazing -- super talented!! she will be here soon...SO exciting! :) xo
